Lotus
A peaceful lotus blooms from the depths of the mind.
In many cultures, the lotus flower is a symbol of purity, enlightenment, and rebirth. In Buddhist tradition, it is associated with spiritual awakening and the journey towards self-realization, as it grows from the mud at the bottom of a pond to blossom into a beautiful flower. The mantram om mani padme hum reminds us to look to the jewel in the lotus of our hearts. A touch of goldfish, which represent good luck and prosperity, completes the scene.
Year of the Dragon
2024 is the year of the rabbit. The Year of the Rabbit is associated with the earthly branch symbol '卯' (mǎo), which signifies growth, renewal, recovery, and vitality. People born in the Year of the Rabbit are believed to be kind-hearted, gentle, quiet, and intelligent. They are also believed to be lucky in love and have a happy family life.
In Chinese culture, the Rabbit is often associated with the moon as a symbol of fertility and longevity.
The Flight
Take on the adventure that is your life
Flying through a dark night, we get the sense of exploring new worlds with bravery and courage. The unknown journey ahead is represented by the vast, open sky and the uncharted territory that awaits. The characters in the painting show determination and a willingness to take on the adventure of life, no matter how challenging it may be. Go with friends if you can, go alone if you must. Either way, go.
