FAQ

How was the book made?

Our books are written, illustrated, and designed by owner-artist Mimi Chao. The books are printed with our trusted partners in China on FSC-certified paper, meaning it is made from sustainably-sourced trees. You can find an in-depth look into Mimi's creative and production process in our Studio Post.

When will I receive my pre-order?

We expect to receive the books by December 2025 and will ship them out within a week of our receipt. However, due to the unpredictable nature of production and shipping, we cannot guarantee receipt of the book by the holidays. Please plan accordingly 🙏 If the book is a gift, we will provide a specially-illustrated digital card that you can provide in the meantime!

How do I add my name to the book?

By default, the name on the order of the Book Support Package will be included (just the first name and last initial). You will receive a Google Form by email to confirm your desired name or opt out entirely. Names must be received by September 1, 2025 to be included.

What age is this book for?

Our books are made to be enjoyed by all ages. We have heard many stories of families reading our books to their newborn infants for bedtime, toddlers learning the words and memorizing the lines, and adults without any children enjoying our books as works of art. As a technical matter, this book might be grouped with picture books for kids 2+.

Is this book related to Let's Go Explore?

Yes and no. Treasure Everywhere is the third in our set of original Mimochai picture books, following Let's Go Explore and Alphabet Adventure. While it is not an official sequel, and the characters in each are slightly different, they are spiritually related and share similar themes of exploration, wonder, and mindfulness. They are all the same size and will be offered in a gift set collection. 💛
